Social Media Savvy
For this role, you should have the 411 on Social Media 101, but also be able to keep yourself ahead of the curve on trends and strategies. Also, someone who is able to write and post in a variety of different voices is going to be the best Don Draper or Peggy Olson for this job. We’re definitely on the hunt for a guy or gal who always knows how to get the most #Instagramworthy shot and loves a good photoshoot. Bonus points if you’re familiar with social media scheduling in Sprout and always know where to find the appropriate GIF for your group chats. #important

Organizational Wizard
The world of social media and PR is fast-paced and always evolving, so it’s muy importante that you be organized! As a team, we manage several client social media accounts, PR scopes, and graphic design, too! You don’t need to have a color-coded sock drawer, but being able to stay on top of tasks and to-dos is necessary for a job well done! 

 Creative Genius
Working in a creative field such as this is part strategy, part letting creativity run wild. We are looking for someone who is a unicorn of creative ideas, both for social media, PR and events, and measures beyond that can help our clients blossom. Whether you’re artsy, a wordsmith, always dreaming and scheming new ideas, or just like, really good on the ‘gram, this might be the job for you. It goes without saying that in addition to creativity, self-motivation, good written and oral skills, and a strong understanding and competency in social media is necessary for anyone who wants to help Mad Meg take the media world by storm.



  • Assist in copywriting and content creation for client social media and website blogs

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Mailchimp newsletters for various clients

  • Attend and sit in on client meetings

  • Instagram prospecting

  • Assist to update and maintain the Mad Meg company website

  • Attend and assist on client shoots for social media content

  • Assist in sending pitch emails for social media collaborations (reach out to bloggers, influencers, other businesses, etc.)
